Mbeng Ngassa / cinematographer, photographer, creative Technologist
Mbeng Ngassa is 44 years old and has been shooting and editing film since he was 16 years old using capture cards and hardware encoders. I have also been writing software and interactive experiments since I was 10 years old.
Born in London, but raised in Cameroon till I was 12 years old before returning to London. Mbeng had an urge to learn about his culture and create art from that perspective since late 20’s.
He attended the London School of Music and Media majoring in Media Arts and Minor in Advertising before a near 10 year career as a creative technologist for the top agencies in London. He attended the Los Angeles film school in 2008 and since then He has been shooting movies, documentaries, music videos and much more around Africa, mostly Cameroon. He has experience on set as a Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, SFX and graphics.
